Located near Carmarthen off the A48, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is one of the county’s biggest attractions. Here, you can wander through beautiful themed gardens, explore the world’s largest single-span glasshouse, and discover wildlife, nature trails and seasonal events suitable for all ages.

4. Millennium Coastal Park

The Millenium Coastal Park stretches for over 13 miles along the coastline between Bynea and Pembrey. The Coastal Park is perfect for cycling, walking and enjoying spectacular views across the Burry Estuary. The traffic-free paths make it ideal for families and cyclists of all abilities.

5. WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre

Nature lovers shouldn’t miss out on the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre. This is home to flamingos, otters and hundreds of bird species, it is in my opinion a fantastic place to enjoy wildlife, family activities and peaceful walks through wetlands and lakes.
