Why Royal Caribbean Cruises Always Hit Different
There are cruises… and then you have Royal Caribbean cruises. From the moment that you step on board, you quickly realise this isn’t just another holiday, it is going to be an experience that stays with you long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase. Whether it’s the genuinely friendly crew who go above and beyond, the world-class entertainment that rivals shows on land, the Michelin Star Style dining that is included in the price of your cruise and an unlimited amount of activities available to you every single day, or just simply the jaw-dropping scale of the ships themselves, Royal Caribbean have got the key of making every voyage unforgettable. It’s more than just a cruise; it’s a place where lifelong memories are made, and for many travellers, there’s simply nothing else on Earth that compares.
My Voyage — Anthem of The Seas (June 28th 2024-July 5th 2024)
One of the highlights of my cruising experiences was my week on board, Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas. I was on this ship from June 28th to July 5th, 2024. From the moment we arrived, getting on board was incredibly easy and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. As I was 15 at the time, I also had access to the teen club (Adventure Ocean), which quickly became one of the best parts of the trip. I also made some amazing friends there, many of whom came from all over the world, and incredibly, I’m still friends with a lot of them to this very day. Even so, the practical side of cruising was made simple, with the Royal Caribbean app making it easy to book activities, check reservations and keep an eye on our onboard charges.
The entertainment was genuinely out of this world. I had the chance to watch We Will Rock You, the ship’s full-scale production, and as someone who is qualified in Theatre Production, I was blown away by the sheer scale and quality of the show.
Of course, I can’t forget the food either. The food on board was incredible, and it’s something I still miss to this day. For an entire week, I basically got to eat like a fat bastard and honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
In my opinion, if you ever go Royal, you will stay Royal. Their fleet is incredible and there is always a ship that will please everyone. For now Anthem is my current fav. Before that was Explorer and Adventure.
